Genesis 37:19 says, “And they said one to another. Behold, this dreamer cometh.” We all have dreams—sometimes nightmares, sometime pleasant, sometimes very vivid dreams, even reoccurring dreams. I knew of a girl who dreamed she was blowing her nose. She woke up in the morning and found that she had torn a couple of pages […]

I John 3:14 says, “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” How can we be sure we love our brother? Is there a fine line between loving and not loving? We know that 32 degrees Fahrenheit is the

Isaiah 12:3 says, “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” We live in a day when hand-dug wells are a thing of the past—at least in most countries. Mr. Flannigan, my neighbor, dug a well by hand. It was about 20 feet deep when he asked me to help

Philippians 4:6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” As a young married couple, Donna and I took our newborn daughter, Lori, from Nampa to Lewiston, Idaho for a baby dedication and a five-generation picture. Sunday night we were driving

James 1:25 says, “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” John Hancock is known for his signing of the Declaration of Independence. The phrase, “Sign your John Hancock right here”
